:: Celebrating the Return – A Gathering of Disciples. $495/$375.
A Gathering of Disciples is a celebration of the life and activity of Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. During this event, his incarnation, Dilgo Khyentse Yangsi Rinpoche, will bestow the empowerment for the Rangjung Peme Nyingtik – a practice of the Three Roots in one sadhana – and a mind terma of Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche.
The Rangjung Peme Nyingtik was the treasure of Guru Padmasambhava’s heart drop for this generation of practitioners, discovered by Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche during our time. I believe this terma has an incredible connection to our generation; we are designated as the benefactors of this practice.Therefore Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche wanted this as part of the Nyingma cycle and so did Chagdud Rinpoche. We are also going to be doing this practice in Mangala Shri Bhuti.

Morning Session: Introductory talk by Rabjam Rinpoche, The Importance of Empowerment: Recollections of Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse, followed by a talk by Dilgo Khyentse Yangsi Rinpoche on Lineage of a Good Heart

Afternoon Session: The Rangjung Peme Nyingtik empowerment
Sunday, August 15th
Time: 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM
Morning Session: Chants and meditation followed by a tsok celebration and Rangjung Peme Nyingtik practice with Dilgo Khyentse Yangsi Rinpoche
Lunch
Afternoon Session: Tsok celebration and Rangjung Peme Nyingtik practice with Dilgo Khyentse Yangsi Rinpoche. The event will conclude with a blessing line and Tenzhuk (a ceremony for securing the teacher’s long life and flourishing of Dharma activity for all beings)
Relic Tour—A collection of sacred relics from the treasury of Shechen Monastery will be displayed in the shrine room during the weekend. This will be a rare glimpse and a tremendous blessing to encounter these treasures of the Nyingma lineage.
